“Cooperatives Build a Better World”
International Cooperative Products Exhibition
& China-Central Asia Trade and Investment Promotion Conference
Activity Report

To: QazTrade Kazakhstan

Date: November 12, 2025

Introduction

Co-hosted by the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC), the National Union of Cooperatives and Other Economic Organizations of Kazakhstan (NACOFEC), and the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), and with the strong support of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan (QazTrade), the International Cooperative Products Exhibition and the China-Central Asia Trade and Investment Promotion Conference (CCATIPC) were a complete success. We value our partnership with QazTrade and have prepared this report to provide a detailed response to your inquiries regarding “promises vs. execution” and to comprehensively summarize the fruitful outcomes of this event.

I. Core Promises vs. Execution

We fully understand your requirement for a clear “promises and results” list for your report. Below is a detailed breakdown of the key commitments made during our pre-event communication and their final execution:

Commitment 1: Business Matchmaking (Promise to meet 100 companies)

Promise: Ensure the Central Asian delegation could engage in in-depth matchmaking with a large number (e.g., 100) of relevant Chinese enterprises.

Execution: We far exceeded this commitment.

  • Overall Scale: The overall event organized by the Chinese side attracted over 800+ professionals from all over China.
  • Booth Matchmaking: The exhibition booth area alone attracted over 200+ Chinese and international buyers for negotiations.
  • Central Asia Session: The “China-Central Asia Trade and Investment Promotion Conference” attracted 98 representatives from Chinese enterprises (see appendix) for “one-on-one” precision matchmaking.

Commitment 2: Program for Entering Chinese Shelves

Promise: Provide specific channels and plans for Central Asian products, especially consumer goods and food, to enter the Chinese market.

Execution: We signed 4 highly targeted MOUs, which “are” the specific plan for entering Chinese shelves.

  • “Central Asia Pavilion” Project: (for consumer goods)
  • “Trade and Finance Platform”: (B2B services)
  • “Agricultural Trade & Logistics” & “Joint Inspection Lab”: (for bulk commodities)
  • Additional Outcome: A Special E-commerce Social Media Promotion will be launched soon, which is additional support beyond the original plan.

Commitment 3: Implement Trade Facilitation & Training from the “Acceleration Plan”

Promise: Promote facilitation measures and professional training within the “China-Central Asia Agricultural Cooperation Project Acceleration Plan”.

Execution: Commitment 100% fulfilled.

  • Trade Facilitation: The 4 MOU projects mentioned above **are** the concrete implementation of the “trade facilitation” measures from the acceleration plan.
  • Professional Training: Successfully facilitated a cooperation agreement between the “National Union of Cooperatives of Kazakhstan” and a “top Chinese vocational college in Zhejiang”. The online training, scheduled for November or December 2025, will be implemented after agreeing on the specific details with the National Union of Cooperatives of Kazakhstan.

II. Key Outcomes: Cooperation Agreements Tailored for Central Asian Enterprises

The 4 MOUs and framework agreements signed are highly aligned with the business nature of the Central Asian participants (e.g., agricultural products, food processing, FMCG) and represent tangible, actionable projects:

III. Strong Media Publicity & Market Exposure

The Central Asia-focused activities received significant attention from China’s national-level media, providing immense promotional value for Central Asian enterprises and products in the Chinese market. We not only achieved traditional media coverage but also added modern digital dissemination:

1. National-Level Media Coverage (China)

  • China Central Television (CCTV)
  • Xinhua News Agency
  • Official Website of CIIE Bureau

2. Top-Tier Social Media Promotion

Promotion via top-tier Chinese social media achieved over 8.6 Million single-event views.

3. Live Photo Album & Professional Media

To maximize the event’s promotional impact, we provided additional professional photography and videography services, promoted in real-time via the “Cooperatives Build a Better World” live photo album.

This live album attracted over 15,498 online viewers, greatly expanding the event’s digital reach and providing valuable secondary promotional material for the CENTRAL ASIAN COOPERATIVES PAVILION’s products and image.

Xinhua News Report Excerpt

“…honey, nuts, and specialty agricultural products from Central Asian countries, traveling along the Silk Road to the tables of Chinese people…”

‘This is wheat feed from Kazakhstan… Our company is bringing high-quality goods to the domestic market.’ …with the help of the cooperative, he signed many large orders at this year’s exhibition and had a very fruitful harvest.”

Conclusion

The Chinese organizers not only fulfilled all key commitments but also exceeded expectations in the number of participating enterprises, the depth of cooperation projects, and the breadth of media publicity. We believe the cooperation mechanisms established at this event will bring long-term business benefits to enterprises from Kazakhstan and Central Asia. We look forward to continuing our close cooperation with QazTrade to facilitate the smooth approval of payments and the execution of subsequent projects.
